Whether it’s 8, 16 and 32-bit, Retr8bit specialises in bespoke craft retro-graphic accessories, jewellery, and art pieces – built one Hama bead at a time.

Each piece (or ‘Sprite’) is individually hand crafted with Hama beads, so may not be identical. Whilst durable, please do take care with all items.

Q. Where is your store based?

A. We are based in London, United Kingdom.

Q. Do you accept orders placed outside of the UK?

A. Of course! International delivery is calculated at checkout.

Q. These items look quite fragile; Will they last?

A. We purposefully apply a heavier heating method for items that require additional durability. (Keychains, Bagclips, etc.) This in turn creates a flatter, more solid but also more flexible product, which will resist unintentional stresses from everyday use.

Returning customers regularly comment to us on how long their products have lasted, despite their initial expectations.

Q. Do you guys do Custom Commissions?

A. Heck yeah! Custom Commissions can range from your favourite pre-existing sprite from your favourite videogame, to a Retr8bit take on your Original Character. Check out our Custom Commission listing for examples of past orders!

Q. Can I use your designs for my own work?

A. 100% Yes. All Retr8bit designs are held under Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works 3.0 License; free to use for your own projects but not for commercial purposes.

Orders / Delivery / Returns

Q. How long will my order take to process?

A. Each item description includes a required processing time for sprite construction. We may already have a premade sprite in stock and be able to send it out immediately, however it is recommended that you use the processing time as reference for when your order will be ready to deliver.

If you are buying multiple items, please remember to add up all required processing times. Again, it may not take this long, but this is your best estimate on how quickly we’ll be able to get your order out.

Q. What delivery methods do you use?

A. We only use standard delivery services for regular item purchases. If you wish to use a different service (e.g. preferred courier, Tracked, or Signed-for) then please contact use to issue a quotation.

There is FREE DELIVERY on all standard Domestic/UK orders.

Domestic/UK orders should be received within 3-5 Working Days of postage. EU orders should be received within 5-10 Working Days. Other International shipping delivery times can vary between 2 and 12 weeks, and may be subject to additional local customs charges.

Q. What is this store’s return and exchange policy?

A. If there are issues with your order please contact us so we can sort this out for you. Custom orders i.e. Commissions can not be return but faulty goods can be sorted.
